Julian is a full-time barrister (Lincoln’s Inn) as well as our part-time minister, is from Sheffield in the West Riding of Yorkshire, and lives on the South Bank with his ‘better half’ and ginger tomcat. His spirituality is broad and rooted in world religions (not least Christianity), philosophies of life, poetry, prose, mindfulness, positive psychology, the conduct of our Sunday and other corporate worship, bespoke special services (namings, weddings and funerals), pastoral ministry, and the direct delivery of legal and social justice. In addition to his practice at the Bar (where he is a member of the Bar Human Rights Committee and Avocats Sans Frontières), he is the founder and consultant principal of our Brixton Legal Centre, and he leads on our being one of the major collective donors to the Brixton & Norwood Foodbank. Mary is originally from Jamaica. She is employed in domestic services at Lewisham Hospital, and enjoys a wide circle of friends, entertaining, fashion, Brixton market, and doing her bit to brighten the days of others. She lives in Camberwell.

Jason is originally from Blackheath; read music at Manchester and a PGCE in music at Manchester Metropolitan and the Royal Northern College of Music; is a conductor, music teacher, and pianist; and lives in Greenwich.
Andrew is originally from Great Wakering, Essex; read marketing and advertising at LCP; is an early retired director of Fitch & Ferrule painters and decorators; and lives with his partner in Waterloo.
Sue is originally from Camden; studied bookkeeping and accounts at Lambeth College; is semi-retired; has three children, several grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren; and lives in Bexhill-on-Sea.

Edwin is originally from Ghana; was raised in Northern Ireland and Sussex; read English at Oxford; is partnered to Lena; and lives between Brixton and Sussex.
Bruce is originally from the Midlands; read politics at Manchester; was a solicitor, before becoming a money adviser with the late Brixton Law Centre; has two children and three grandchildren; is married to Joan; and lives in Tooting.
Ricky is originally from Blackheath; obtained a first in music at King’s College London; is now reading for a PGCE at the Institute of Education, University College London; and lives in Greenwich.
